Hugh Bonneville & Elizabeth McGovern Attend State Dinner

Hugh Bonneville & Elizabeth McGovern attended the White House State Dinner, in honor of British Prime Minister David Cameron, Wednesday evening.

From Politico.com:

Two stars from the hit TV show “Downton Abbey” dined at the White House on Wednesday.
Hugh Bonneville and Elizabeth McGovern, who play husband and wife on the PBS series based in early 20th century England, attended the state dinner honoring British Prime Minister David Cameron, according to a pool report.
McGovern, wearing a black sleeveless dress and bright red lipstick, said upon arrival that her character on “Downton Abbey” —  an American woman married to an Englishman — “is a bridge between two countries,” which makes her “very proud.”
Also emphasizing the show’s U.S. ties, Bonneville said that another American character, played by actress Shirley McLaine, will soon be joining the cast. “I think we've got the special relationship pretty much nailed down,” he said.
