Something to look forward to in June! Downton Abbey has received 4 nominations at the 52nd Monte Carlo Television Festival. The series will be competing against other tv shows from around the globe. Winners are selected by an international jury and will be announced at the awards ceremony on June 14, 2012.
Leading the way with four nominations apiece are Downton Abbey (Michelle Dockery, Joanne Froggatt, Dan Stevens and Brendan Coyle), Game of Thrones (Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage and Kit Harington), Boardwalk Empire (Steve Buscemi, Gretchen Mol, Michael Pitt and Kelly Macdonald) 30 Rock (Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski, Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan), The Slap (Blake Davis, Anthony Hayes, Melissa George and Sophie Okonedo) and The Firm (Josh Lucas, Juliette Lewis, Callum Keith Rennie and Molly Parker).Read more at Digital Spy
