This sounds so Egg-citing! Lord and Lady Carnarvon are opening up the grounds of Highclere Castle, the home of Downton Abbey, on Easter Sunday to benefit the charity Naomi’s House Children's Hospice. A Naomi House t-shirt signed by the Downton Abbey cast including, Hugh Bonneville, Dan Stevens, Michelle Dockery, Jim Carter is the top prize in the raffle.
The days events include activities for the whole family:
Come and join in the Adventure Easter Egg Hunt around the Castle woodland walks, at the home of Downton Abbey. A chocolate egg is on offer to all children completing the Easter Egg Hunt.If you're feeling 'crafty', why not put your skills into practice and make an Easter Bonnet, for the bonnet parade - prizes to be won! (In age categories). You might like to consider making your Bonnet with a Downton Abbey feel.Plenty to see and do for the whole family including; bouncy castle slide, barrel train, East Woodhay Silver band, classic Ferrari cars for the big boys, tethered hot air balloon rides, grand raffle, mega toy tombola, animal petting farm, traditional fete games, falconry display, a variety stalls and much more.
