The owners of the 9ha (22-acre) site are retiring and offering one lucky buyer the chance to be lord of the manor.
The pretty hamlet has 70 park homes, a 14th century haunted castle, a
pub with a ballroom and approved plans for a holiday park.
There is also rumoured to be buried treasure on the estate – Blenkinsopp Castle, near Haltwhistle, Northumberland.
Owners Mike and Lee Simpson, 63, plan to move away from the area rather than staying at one of the homes in the hamlet.
Mr Simpson said: ‘I want to make a clean break and not make the new owners think I’m looking over their shoulder all the time.
