New Projects for Downton Abbey's Joanne Froggatt and Jessica Brown-Findlay



Joanne Froggatt, Downton Abbey's head housemaid Anna, will be starring in a new movie, Still Life, directed by film-maker Uberto Pasolini and co-starring Eddie Marsan. The film is a tale of life, love and the afterlife, it details the story of a case worker who looks for relatives of those found dead alone. When his department is downsized, he must up his efforts on his final case, taking him on a liberating journey that allows him to start living life at last. The cast also includes Karen Drury, Andrew Buchan and Bronson Webb. Still Life is scheduled to begin shooting this month on location in London and the Southeast of England and is scheduled to be out in early 2013.

Lady Sybil, Jessica Brown-Findlay, will star in actor/writer/director David Leon’s debut feature, Driven, along with Damian Lewis, Peter Capaldi and Iwan Rheon.  Production on the crime thriller is set to start in and around Newcastle and Northumberland in early 2013. Driven is a loosely autobiographical crime thriller based around Leon’s own childhood experiences growing up in Newcastle in the late ’80s and early ’90s.
